TrakIt-IP was designed to connect distributed local radio systems with a single workstation for monitoring of the assets / vehicles using VoIP technology. Essentially it makes TrakIt-20B base unit IP-enabled thereby multiple radio AVL systems located in separate regions can be monitored simultaneously by one workstation. This device connects between the TRAKIT-20B base unit and a static IP. The data is communicated over the internet with any authorized workstation. This capability allows for remote dispatching and monitoring of vehicles in a local radio system.
